Are you looking for free or cheap fun things for your family to do during the school holidays?
Here are 5 suggestions
1 – Picnic in the park
Take a blanket and home made sandwiches and head down to your local park. get out in the open air and have a snack then the kids can go on the playground equipment or take a ball and have a kick around to use up some energy.
2 – Nature Trail
Head down to the river or local lake and see how many different animals/ducks you can spot. Prize for the winner who spots the most.
3 – Visit a local shopping center
Lots of shopping centre/outlets have activities for kids during the holiday including games sessions, free cinema screenings and some bring the seaside to the local area of with beach and amusements to play on.
4 – Museums/Art Galleries
A lot of local and national museums are free or low cost and pass part of a day plus provide good educational experiences for your kinds and maybe you too.
5 – Holiday Clubs
One of my clients and many other companies provides before & after school clubs and in the holidays run camps with lots of sporting activities for kids and if you qualify for childcare vouchers you can use them to pay for the sessions.
If you want to know what is happening near you but do not have the time this is a task you can pass on to a VA to do the research on your behalf.
