My Help With Admin Origin Story.

I’ve always resonated with the comment made by the Janitor working at NASA around the time of the moon landings.

The US President was touring the building and passed the Janitor and asked him what his role was at NASA. The Janitor replied, “I here to help put a man on the moon Sir!”.

In my career I have loved helping people do what they want to do or get to where they want to go. My first few jobs were in the Leisure industry as a Lifeguard and Cinema operative enabling people to enjoy their leisure time to then moving into the world of admin in 2000 and working and working in areas such as accounts, payroll followed by 12 years in HR.

In 2017 an opportunity to carry out some freelance work came about as the Unitarians national magazine ‘The Inquirer’ were looking for an Administrator and my wife highlighted the vacancy.

Following that another couple of roles came my way and in 2018 I handed in my notice to my employer and Help With Admin was born.

Well, I did, and I love it.

I like finding business owners or community groups with a product or service I believe in and then help them with my admin support so that the owner can buy back their time to spend it on flying the spaceship to their chosen destination instead of getting bogged down doing the paperwork.
